The Australian Customs and Border Protection Service has launched an investigation in the the dumping of aluminium extrusion products into the Australian market by the Peoples Republic of China after a submission from Capral Ltd. This submission follows on from the success of aluminium extruders in Canada launching action and succeeding with that action that resulted in the imposition of stiff duties on exporters of these products from China. As an Australian Manufacturer and finisher of aluminium products we welcome the action taken to ensure a level playing field is maintained in the Australian market where all can compete fairly.
